Encarsia Formosa is a hymenopterous parasite of whitefly larvae, attacking the at the 3rd and 4th larval stage. It is supplied as parasited scales stuck to cards which are hung in the crop from where they hatch out and attack the whiteflies. Each card will produce a minimum of 60 female wasps (friendly, not your normal wasp)
Use 1 card per 120m2 at weekly intervals until whitefly appear. Then increase the dose to 1 card per 20-60m2 at weekly intervals until 90% of whitefly scales on lower leaves are black.
